CN SALUTES THE LAPD AIR SUPPORT

My husband Glen and I had the privilege of doing a ride-a-long with the LAPD Air Support.  I was so impressed with these officers and the job before them everyday to keep Los Angles and surrounding communities safe. It is not an easy job. It is a city of approximately four million people, more if you count the surrounding areas they cover. The sacrifice in serving any city for any police department is great, but I was so impressed by the realization of the responsibility of nearly four million people. The entire LAPD and their Air Support can even be put on a city-wide alert, which means no one goes home until the alert is over.  Much like any soldier in our military who does not go home until their mission is complete, these guys always stand ready to protect and serve.

The men we met today were professional and highly trained men who care deeply for their city.  I salute their service to their community and city, having the back of their fellow officers and willingness to give their lives to keep four million people safe. Thanks guys for the ride-a-long and your willingness to serve. It is much appreciated!

Thanks to all the men and women who serve and protect in the LAPD!
